From Leah McCarthy:

WABAM LEAH.
You know who it is. Danielle and I spent 5 minutes on this title and finally landed on this. Today was a spectacular day! We went to Stratford upon Avon today and visited the birthplace (and gravesite) of the great William Shakespeare. A beautiful little town, with many quaint little shops. We passed by where he supposedly attended grammar school (no one is sure if he actually attended, imagine that one of the greatest writers in the world not attending grammar school).
We went to the church where he was baptized and where his grave lies. The church was so peaceful, nestled between grassy fields and trees. Took a lot of group shots there, I’m sure I’m blinking in most of them (sorry mom =)).
Then we took a walk down the Royal Shakespeare Company, and spent some pounds in the gift shop, I promise I didn’t spend that much mom and dad (and Mrs. Feldman Josh didn’t spend like any money today, let’s all take a moment and be proud of him). Then we got to walk around town in groups and peruse the shops. Trying to figure out the coin pounds is extremely difficult by the way. I got some British makeup, and earrings…and chocolate. Then we all met back up to go on a boat tour, on the river basically surrounding the whole town. Saw and went under a bridge that is older than America…I was so happy it didn’t start to fall apart as soon as we were going under.
At the RSC we took a workshop on Wigs and Makeup. Justin was dressed up as Cleopatra, Ben a woman in a corset, Michaela a pirate and so was Matt.
After the boat tour we split back up into our groups from earlier and went out shopping again! That was my favorite part of the day; it’s a great getting to explore a beautiful town with friends you love! Cassi, Michaela, Emily, Kristyn, and I had a few girl hours to go around shopping and had oodles and oodles of fun! Then Bobby joined us, we had dinner, and went back to get on the bus to Birmingham. Where currently Bobby and Mr. P are trying to figure out the T.V….so happy it didn’t break.
Love to all!!!!!! Miss you like crazy!
